Anna Su is a musician based out of Los Angeles. Born in Taiwan, she moved to the United States at the age of 5. Growing up studying classical piano and cello, she later graduated the USC Thornton School of Music, picking up a variety of other string instruments along the way including the guitar, banjo, and mandolin. In 2010, Anna released her debut album, Howling Tree, combining hints of gypsy jazz with folk to create a refreshing take on an old sound. In 2011, she formed the bar room bluegrass/folk collective, The Wild Maps, to cause some foot-stomping raucous. She is currently working on a electro pop album and playing in Los Angeles, NYC, and Europe.
